Saving Lives With Our Free Emergency Unlocking
Pop-A-Lock was founded by law enforcement officers who saw the devastating consequence of children and pets being accidently locked in vehicles.
It can happen to anyone. Statistics show that 50% of the time children are simply forgotten in their car seat. A helpful reminder is to place your purse, wallet or phone near the child’s seat.
Also, children and pets can inadvertently trigger electronic door locks. You should never allow a child to play with your car keys, and in the case of pets, leave the window part way down so you can reach back in to open the door.
If your child or pet becomes locked in a vehicle we recommend immediately calling 911, then contacting Pop-A-Lock. One of our car door technicians will be dispatched right away to unlock your door for free.
Across North America Pop-A-Lock has rescued hundreds of thousands of children and pets through this free community service.
